...I've heard some really mixed opinions (and it was quite a controversial episode so it's to be expected!)

What's yours?

Just seen it and I think he'd getting a bit too powerful! He'd starting to play God and I have a feeling it won't help him next episode!

Quite a powerful episode though.

Yeah very thought provoking!!

Yeah I think that wasn't really him, it's the grief coming through when He heard all the people dying, which caused him to be angry because he wanted to change it, he was fed up with following the rules of time and getting hurt by them. Then when he did (or thought he had) what he did it brought an arogence out of him that was what he could have been (a bit like what the Master decided), but I think he was quickly brought back to earth by Brooks. He needed to learn the heard way to remember why he is like he is. The fact he was affected by what Brooks did means the Doctor's still there. Just a very hurt and fragile one.

Well yeah but do you think he's reverting back to his old ways as the ninth doctor? I mean, he has an excuse to be like he is, but is just time he retired?! (Or the script writers kill him off!)

I think it's because He's gonna die soon that they did it. That's the impression I got from Confidential anyway.

And I think he is. It's what happens without a companion to bring out his humanness (is that a word?), or as Donna to put it 'to stop him'
